Hip Hop Program
2024 Season

This program is offered for movers + shakers ages 8-13

This year we will be hosting 4-sessions, each 4-6 weeks long, led by Steps PDX Hip Hop Director Decimus Yarbrough.

Performance experience is a fundamental part of training. Dancers have the opportunity to perform in Nightmare Before Christmas in December and BLOOM in June, as well as in studio showcases.

This program has been carefully curated to challenge the physical and technical abilities of each dancer in a positive and nurturing environment. We will provide knowledge and experiences for dancers to gain exposure into various styles that influence Hip Hop including; Locking, Rhythm Training, Street Jazz, Tap, Afro Funk, House, and Choreography.
