SUMMER 2021

Our Summer Course curriculum offers dancers quality training, enriched by a diversity of dance forms including ballet technique, pointe, choreography, strength and conditioning, pilates, modern, contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, flamenco and improvisation. We provide seminars by physicians and dance specialists on topics including nutrition, injury prevention, music and dance history. Faculty includes Steps PDX year-round professional instructors, as well as various guest teachers from around the country.

Prior to the start of the program, dancers will be given a final schedule of classes and breaks.

In-studio classes will be available for 15 students, on a first come first serve basis.

We will be taking preventative measures to ensure everyone’s safety, including:
- Taking temperatures of every student and staff before entering the studio
- All students and staff are required to wear masks
- Keeping a minimum of at least 6 feet apart (floors will be marked for where to stand)
- Sanitizing all surfaces throughout the day and at the end of the day
- Ventilating the studio with ample airflow
- All Teaching Staff have been vacinnated

*All students have the option to take classes available online through Zoom.
