STUDIO SAFETY PROCEDURES

  • Masks are encouraged, but not required.

  • Everyone is encouraged to use supplied hand sanitizer and/or wash their hands before entering the studio.

We understand the need to take significant measures to protect the health and safety of our dancers, families, artistic staff, and community. We are taking preventative measures to ensure everyone’s safety and continue to monitor information from the CDC, Oregon Health Authority, and the Multnomah County Health Department, while implementing best practices accordingly. If there is an untick of cases, we will re-evaluate making masks mandatory. If you test positive for Covid, we ask that you isolate for at least 7 days before returning to classes and wear a mask for at least 7 days after returning to classes.

  • In-Studio classes are limited in size due to state mandates and are filled on a first-come first-served basis. Once we reach a capacity of 20 dancers per class, you will be placed on our waitlist in the order we receive

  • In-Person registration is available up to 1-hour prior to the start of class (if space is available)

  • No refunds or credits will be available for in-person class cancellations 3-hours before class, or no shows. You must send an email to operations@stepspdx.com in order to cancel, or you will be charged.

  • Steps Pdx reserves the right to cancel classes if there are less than 3 students in class and or changes to the pandemic or the state-mandated regulations. If a class is canceled, you will be notified via email and with a follow-up text/call confirming the class is canceled. Your class will remain on your account until used.

 
 

Every dancer and instructor
will be required to fill out the
COVID Wellness Screening Test before safely entering the studio.

between classes and at the

A reminder to please quickly pick up and drop off students at the studio. We want to minimize the amount of people in the hallway and building so please do not linger.

All artistic staff, dancers and family members in the building, are encouraged to wear masks but not required.

We have a larger Air purifier in the back of the classroom, covering more square footage. The Bissell Smart Purifier with HEPA and Carbon Filters, captures 99.97% of 0.3 micron particles and smaller, as well as cleans air from allergies, pet dander, dust, dander, pollen, smoke, odors

 

Floors will continue to be sanitized everyday by vacuuming, steaming (killing 99.9% of household germs, as well as dust mites and surface mold), followed by a sanitation floor cleaner specifically for marley dance floors.
